Just wanted to check if anyone out there has played this srsly epic game. I'm right up at the end before facing Ultimecia. I got bored with it at that point cuz I wanted to pwn Omega Weapon first by drawing/junctioning over 9000 spells from enemies an online guide said I'd require to help pwn him. Along the way I said "Screw it" and never played it again. :C

I really should get around to beating it, but eff Omega Weapon. xD

FFVIII came out in 1999 for the PS1, and it was the first FF game I ever played.
Since then I've become hooked on the series and played almost all of 'em. (Every one up to 12 so far as I don't have a PS2 any more and the new ones are coming out on PS3. D=)
But yes, I LOVE this game, and all other FF games ever.
I have never been able to choose a favourite FF game, because they are all so deep and epic, but I may be slightly biased towards this, as if it wasn't for accidentally stumbling across this at a friends house I may never have discovered the series.
Just for the record, my favourite character is/was Zell. =D
I named my guinea pig after him. ^_^
Seriously though, you can tell I'm a fan of the series. Just look at my sig. xD

I didn't like it, it was good, but I just didn't like it. My first (And my Favorite) FF game was FFII on the SNES. Which was actually like #4 in Japan, man I wish most of those Japanese games were released out side of Japan.

It''s was OK, but it didn''t compare to FF7 IMO
