This game is fun and addictive. The Pokemon TCG is very well-structured which makes the gameplay fun! Since it's a video game you don't need to buy cards and the cards will always be organized so nicely so you can flexibly make fantastic decks.

Yeah, I remember this game. Got it by accident but ended up enjoying it. It's amazing how they made that work in the simple GBC. Then again, they also made a Metal Gear for GBC (Metal Gear: Ghost Babel), so I guess the developers really knew how to push the system.

I agree on the remake/update part. It'd feel great on the DS by using the touch screen to control your cards. Should be kind of like the Yu-Gi-Oh! games. I'd definitely play it.

lol I still have that game. I used to play it all the dang time. I had this little old booklet that showcased all of the very first sets of cards in the TCG. One section had a list of decks that the old pros used and won tourneys with. I spent the majority of my time collecting (OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND) cards to copy those decks and pwn the CPUs. xD

This game was pretty cool.  I liked how it used the IR sensor on the top of the GBC for unlocking special cards.

I remember I always collected the real cards in real life(still got 3 boxes full of em) and I bought this game It was so addictive and stayed true to the Pokemon roots. And have always scoured the internet for any rumors of a new one.
